Linda Brandon Eubank
Moderator Elect
Linda Brandon Eubank started attending the Troy Church of the Brethren in 2003. After studying different Christian denominations, she no longer wanted to be a part of the Catholic Church. At Troy she has been on the deacon, fellowship and hospitality, outreach teams, with part of her time as board chair. Linda served on the district board from 2014 through 2019.
She shares, “God has prepared me for this role in a variety of ways: Through religious instruction as a young person, as a pharmacist for 45 years and the various roles in my church and district. All have taught me how to serve and care for others.”
Betty Byrd
Program and Arrangements
Oakland Church of the Brethren. Currently she serves as their Youth Coordinator. She has taught Jr High Sunday School and been the
Communications Convener on their Leadership team. Betty served the district as Coordinator for the Jr High activities for the 2023 conference in Cincinnati. She has helped in the kitchen during district camping and has gone on several BDM trips.
When asked how God has prepared her for this position, Betty shares, “I have helped put together different kinds of programming at our church as well as my previous job in a public library where I did the children's programming.”
Todd Reish
Standing Committee Delegate
Todd Reish is a life-long member of the Church of the Brethren and a current member of the Oakland Congregation where he teaches Sunday School and has served as their Moderator. Todd has served two terms on the District Board. Four of those years, he has been the Board Chair. He worked in Elgin with Brethren Volunteer Service and has been a member of five different districts.
Gale Stephenson
District Board
Constanette "Gale" Stephenson is a member of the Lower Miami Church of the Brethren. Since she has been a member of Lower Miami, she has served on the church board as Family Life chair, and currently as Deacon Chair. She also serves as a member of their Migrant Ministry and Worship team. In an administrative capacity, Gale supports their Financial Secretary. Gale is a part of the Districts Visioning Team. This is her first time serving at the District level.
Gale shares, Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you..." and says “ . . . Whatever plans God has for me, hopefully I will be able to use them to the betterment of the SOH/KY district.”
Dennis Delk
District Board
Dennis Delk has been a member of Potsdam CoB for his entire life until recently when he was called as pastor of the Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren in Tipp City, OH. He has served as the Chair of Ministerial Board, Assistant Moderator, Trustee Board, President of Men’s Work, helped with Kid’s Club, and attended numerous social events. Dennis has been active in the district as a board member, has gone on BDM Mission trips, provided ice cream for the BDM ice cream social and provided pizza and ice cream for the District Picnic. Growing up in the Church of the Brethren and serving on various boards has taught Dennis how to get along with others and be open to all types of people. Dennis enjoys being a friend to everyone. Dennis has also learned how to speak in front of large groups of people. Above all, he has a love for and a strong faith in God.
Terrilyn Griffith
District Board
Terrilyn Griffith is a currently a member of the Lower Miami Church of the Brethren. For many years, she belonged to the Mack Memorial Church of the Brethren, as well as the 10 Wilmington Place project of the Southern Ohio/Kentucky District. She has been a part of a few groups working on racial justice issues both in the district as well as the wider church and with the former New Church Development Commission of SOKD . Terrilyn believes God has prepared her to serve on the District Board by teaching her to listen to the voices of the district, which are varied and different. She shares, “I have been able to come to the understanding that in our differences ther is strength that promotes the mission and purpose of the church and follows the way that Jesus has set before us.”
