Whether we live in Columbus, Ohio, the rural communities of Darke County, or northern Kentucky, we are brothers and sisters. Brethren Disaster Ministry--Southern OhioOne of the purposes of The Shared Ministry Commission of the District Board is to seek out ways we can work together in ministry. One way we are already working together, is through Brethren Disaster Ministry. However, most of the time, our Southern Ohio Disaster Ministry projects are full with a waiting list. And there are many more who would like to go on trips, but can't get away from their job or other life responsibilities for an entire week.
Therefore Brethren Helping Hands has been created.
